Currently I’m completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University and have a student status with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
I have 10+ years’ experience working with children, teens and families including facilitating teen mental health groups in school and small group settings; focusing on self-awareness, anxiety and building self-compassion. I place emphasis on the Carl Roger’s principle that children learn through understanding and unconditional acceptance.
To Tides Center, I bring my passion for working with youth and families and I strive to form a relationship with each person founded on acceptance, understanding and genuineness.
