Certified Canadian Counsellor | Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) | Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) | Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Meet Jessica! Jessica brings warmth, insight, and nearly a decade of experience as a teacher into her counselling work with youth, young adults, men, and families. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), she combines her deep understanding of human development with a compassionate, client-centred approach. Jessica is currently working toward registration as a Provisional Psychologist in Alberta.
Jessica’s areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, addiction, relational issues, and family dynamics. She is especially passionate about supporting youth navigating identity, peer pressure, and family relationships; young adults working through self-worth and unresolved trauma; men seeking to understand their emotions better, challenge societal expectations, and embrace vulnerability; and families looking to improve communication, resolve conflict, and heal from emotionally complex dynamics.
Her therapeutic work draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed practice, and culturally sensitive, person-centred care. Jessica also integrates Family Systems theory and draws on her training as a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) to support clients of all ages in working through the lasting impacts of challenging experiences.
Jessica sees the counselling relationship as a foundation for meaningful change. She is honoured to offer a space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their healing journey—working together to build confidence, clarity, and more authentic, fulfilling lives.
